Join us at Ikhlas Masjid as we celebrate Eid al-Fitr, one of the most joyful and blessed days in Islam. Eid marks the completion of the sacred month of Ramadan, a time when Muslims around the world fast, pray, and seek closeness to Allah. It is a day of gratitude, unity, generosity, and celebration with family and community.
Allah reminds us about completing the fast and glorifying Him:
“…so that you complete the prescribed period and glorify Allah for guiding you, and that you may be grateful.”
(Qur’an 2:185)
The Prophet ﷺ also said:
“The fasting person has two joys: one when he breaks his fast and one when he meets his Lord.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari & Muslim)
On this blessed day, Muslims gather for the Eid prayer, give charity (Zakat al-Fitr), and share happiness with family, friends, and neighbours.
